The Alpha Psi Chapter keeps a close relationship with our Hammond Area Alumnae Chapter. We look to them for advice and guidance. The alumnae chapter not only volunteers to help with chapter events and donate money, but they also help make up our seventeen-member advisory council.
The Hammond Area Alumnae Chapter and Alpha Psi hold several events together throughout the year such as the Pink Soda Party, Thanksgiving Dinner, Homecoming Tailgate, and Founder's Day Brunch.

"Phi Mu has given me the confidence, strength, and perseverance to accomplish my goals. No matter how many times I doubted myself, and through every life challenge, the bonds of this amazing sisterhood supported me through. I wouldn’t be who I am today without Alpha Psi. LIOB"

"As a legacy of Phi Mu, I knew I had to go through recruitment and go pink team! But little did I know that Phi Mu would mold me into the career woman I am today. I am so thankful for the lessons learned, memories made, and best friends gained throughout my time in Phi Mu."
Lauren Snowdy, Spring 15
M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology
"The leadership experience and confidence I gained in Phi Mu continues to empower me in my career development and personal development. Without my Phi Mu sisters, I would not have the relationships that are the very core of my support system, even after moving miles away."
Courtney Kinnison, Fall 11

“Phi Mu Fraternity not only provided me with lasting friendships, it also gave me a platform to launch my future career. Through CMNH I was able to connect with major hospitals and programs which helped my application standout when applying to graduate school. If it wasn’t for Phi Mu and our philanthropy I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today!”
KAYLIN STRONG, Fall 13

"Phi Mu has offered me confidence, leadership, forever friendship, empowerment and even my first job! Upon graduation in May 2017, I accepted a job at Phi Mu's National Headquarters as a Chapter Consultant, along with 16 other sisters from around the country. In just one semester I had the opportunity to travel to 18 universities in 15 states, ranging from Hawaii to the East Coast, encouraging and empowering Phi Mu women to be the very best versions of themselves! Joining Phi Mu 4 and a half years ago continues to be the best decision of my life. I can't wait to see where Phi Mu will take me next!"

“Phi Mu Fraternity has provided me with lasting friendships, confidence, and the courage to set my goals high! Through CMNH I was able to connect with major hospitals by being Alpha Psi’s Philanthropy Director. This allowed me to volunteer my summer, being a camp counselor with CMNH sponsored camps! If it wasn’t for Phi Mu and our philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, I wouldn’t be where I am today! #FTK”
