Phi Mu's national philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network (CMN). Phi Mu is the only sorority to be a corporate sponsor of this amazing cause. In just thirty years, Phi Mu has raised over 14 million dollars for local children's hospitals across North America! We are #FTK!

Phi Mu provides a venue through which chapter members can contribute and give back to the community in more than one way. The money raised by Alpha Psi at Southeastern Louisiana University stays locally and is given to the New Orleans Children's Hospital.

Here at SLU, Phi Mu puts on, sponsors and participates in many events "For the Kids." In the fall, we put on "Phi Mu Phace Off", a dodgeball tournament in which all the proceeds go to CMN. "Pie A Phi" is held during Homecoming Week, and students can pay one dollar to pie a Phi Mu of their choice in the face! The fall also contains national movements and fundraisers like Miracle Jeans Day in September and National Philanthropy Day in October.

In the Spring, different campus events like our Bayou Bash and Olympic Games give us a chance to raise money for other kids as well. We paired with a fraternity on campus and also helped out their philanthropy, Special Olympics! Phi Mu Alpha Psi also sponsors, and largely in part, puts on Southeastern's Dance Marathon program!

DurinG 2017, Alpha Psi proudly raised over $23,000 for CMN!

National Philanthropy Day is recognized by all Phi Mus on the third Monday of each October. This day is dedicated to local community service and philanthropic work.

This year for National Philanthropy Day we donated Thanksgiving food items to our local food pantry.
